There are so many wonderful things I could say about these two beyond the fact that they are family. Diane, my husband’s aunt, is the most tender hearted and loving person you will ever encounter in your life. I mean that. The wedding was in Canada and so the weekend of the wedding was my first time meeting Shawn and after about five minutes of being around them together it was quite apparent that Diane had found someone that might just be able to out do her in their thoughtfulness and love. These two have both been on incredible journeys that had brought them to this beautiful day. Their stories are a full display of God’s plan and purpose that come in His time and how perfect that truly is.
I have to also mention something about the DeMerchant family…when they all get together there tends to be a lot of laughter and it can get rather loud. This was the first time in years that all children and grandchildren were together so it was even louder than usual. The reason I mention this is because of how outstanding Shawn’s kids were in jumping right in with all the DeMerchant crew. It meant the world to the family to have you three there, not just at the wedding because that is a given, but for coming to all the little events before and after the big day. Fenerty’s, we are blessed to call you family!
